Description

Laborelec, a subsidiary of Engie, is a research and technical centre employing 250 researchers and experts specialising in electrical power technologies and sustainable energy solutions.

As a trusted partner in high-performance spectrometry, CERAP Prévention developed for Laborelec a custom characterisation system for underwater waste, building on its proven expertise from previous projects with major nuclear operators.

By adapting standard industrial components into bespoke spectrometry systems, CERAP Prévention has positioned itself as a specialist designer and integrator of customised spectrometry chains.

Our engineering teams design mechanical systems, dimension radiological shielding, customise detectors and electronics, and develop user-friendly software interfaces — all to meet the most stringent standards of the nuclear industry.

These custom-built characterisation systems are optimised for specific applications, such as operation up to 20 metres underwater, in highly irradiated environments, or for the analysis of particular waste types.

Automated measurement result analysis allows even non-specialist users to operate these advanced systems effectively and safely.
